Newport Flotilla – July 2023

Newport/Martha’s Vineyard/Nantucket July 14-21, 2023. Only a few yachts available!

Tucked in just south of Cape Cod, two beautiful and iconic islands sit in northern Long Island Sound, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. These two islands are distant enough from the bustle of the East Coast to maintain a special and distinct culture and vibe, but close enough that yachts from the mainland can reach and explore them in a week’s charter. With good distances between destinations you’ll get plenty of sailing time, making landfalls exciting and rewarding.

We’ve organized a flotilla out of Newport, RI, itself an iconic bastion of yachting and an extremely interesting destination in its own right. You can read all about the three destinations and the details of our flotilla by downloading our brochure elsewhere on this page.

We have planning parties on the calendar:

Saturday, November 19, 2022 – Zoom only – 5:00 p.m. PST (to provide for those 3 hours ahead on the East Coast).
Sunday, January 22, 2023 – In-Person at Inspire Sailing 6:30p.m. PST, with remote viewing via Zoom.

November 19, 5:00pm PST, we will hold a presentation via Zoom covering what to expect and how to get involved. We will answer all questions of travel, finances, finding crewmates, etc. January 22, 2023, 6:30pm PST, we will hold a hybrid planning party (in person and via Zoom) for networking and crew building. We will have an in-person party at Inspire Sailing with finger food, beer and wine and will provide Zoom link for those unable to attend in person.
